A logo and visual identity refresh, updating the current branding and website to a modern representation that allows for growth with a new generation, while remaining recognisable to longstanding customers and the public.

the CHALLENGE
Create a new visual identity for an established brand that both appeals to a modern audience, while also not losing the brand equity the company has built over the years.
The updated identity must be somewhat interchangeable with the previous branding due to to a large number of existing assets such as truck designs having only recently been completed; meaning the new identity needed to seamlessly combine with the old one.
The website needed to better communicate the company’s services, trust factor, and purpose, while providing an improved and more intuitive user experience in regards to requesting services and contacting the company.

Through research and discovery with the client, it became apparent that the most recognisable and enduring element from past logos was the waves on the capital ‘A’. Carrying this forward into the new logo, we incorporated it into a more unified shape and made it the standout feature of the primary mark. Expanding the identity was also very important to us to allow for flexibility in application. This led to the creation of the ‘A-star’ badge and icon, perfectly encapsulating the company’s commitment to excellence and reliability.

The updated visual identity feels like a modern continuation and expansion of the existing brand. It preserves brand recognition, while providing a platform for growth and versatility as the company moves forward.
The website brings updated ideas and best practices for web design and user experience on a page. More information has been brought to the homepage, with clear calls to action throughout. We also made sure to boost the social proof, bringing the existing trusted client partnerships to the top of the page.
